There are several healthy lunch choices at Jax Grill. There is no nutrition information available per se, but the selections I choose from there can be reasonably estimated because they don't come with high carbohydrate items that tend to push up the calories count. Service is exceptionally quick and the place is easy to get in and out of. Don't be scared off if there is a line at the door.

- Marinated Chicken: "A plump, tender mesquite grilled chicken breast served with rice pilaf and vegetables." IMO the chicken is not really plump or super tender, then again I am looking at this from healthy choice stand point and this meal flips the bill. Menu price says $6.95Heights: Houston, TX
- Grilled Shrimp Salad: "Five large mesquite grilled shrimp on a bed of fresh, crisp greens with tomatoes, sliced avocado, black olives and sweet peppers". As long as you have your dressing on the side and don't go crazy with it, this is an excellent choice for a salad. It doesn't come with cheese so that is a plus. All in all I found this salad to be pretty tasty and lean. Menu price is $6.95
